Focus
Focus is our group for year 7+ young people. We meet on a Friday evening during term time at the Chapel from 7.15 to 8.30pm. We enjoy all sorts of activities including; cooking, team games, Wii game evenings, bowling and Laser Quest trips. During the summer evenings we have been out to Box Hill, the Stepping Stones and to the Sea. We are planning an end of term barbeque. We have 3 Leaders Jane, Paul and Shirley. Most weeks we spend a few minutes thinking about what the Bible teaches us.
Pathfinders
Pathfinders is a children’s club for children in school years 1-6 (ages 5-11).
It takes place every Friday in term time from 6-7pm. There is a different activity each week e.g craft, games, cooking, themed evenings, trips out, and the hour finishes with a story from the Bible. We have lots of fun!
Builders
Every Sunday morning for 40 minutes or so we learn together from the Bible, using craft, games, discussions and other activities to apply the Bible’s teaching to our lives. Starting at 10am there are 2 age groups - one for the 8-11s and one for the 11-14s.
Tiddlywinks
Tiddlywinks is the name of our mother/father/carer and toddler group. We are a small and friendly group and meet every Monday morning in term time from 10-12am. There are lots of toys for the tots to play with while mum has a well earned cup of tea/coffee! There is also a dedicated baby area, and all ages from birth to 5 are welcome. A craft activity is provided during the morning too, as well as refreshments, and the morning is rounded off with a time of nursery rhyme singing along with actions and instruments. Once a term we invite everyone to stay to share lunch together and hear a speaker share with us something of their life as food for thought. New mums always welcome.
